Directed by Kazuko Hirabayashi, the objective of Dance New York International - Summer Programs is to engage dancers and emerging choreographers in a cross-cultural dialog, enriching their knowledge and experience of each other's ideas through language studies and creative collaborations.  Each participant will have the opportunity to perform and/or create new pieces of choreography that will be presented in an open venue.  Dancers and choreographers work together with international artists to produce these performances.  Additionally, students are immersed in every aspect of French, Spanish, or American culture, from traditional customs, food, and nightlife to high art.
